4.47 hectares – around the size of 6 football pitches – of countryside open space will be created in and around the site. Open to the public, this space will ensure that the countryside continues to be at the very heart of Hurst Green, and is within 15 minutes walk of the whole village.
The new spaces offer a range of benefits to residents and wildlife and with a range of additional planting and ongoing maintenance will enhance the habitats onsite to create 10% Biodiversity Net Gain.
